The Jubilee launching kicked off a year-long celebration, according to Sister Gladys Nah, the principal of SJICHS. “This event is not just a one-day occasion; it signifies the beginning of various activities throughout the year,” she stated. Scheduled for November 22, 2025, the celebrations will honor five decades of Saint Joseph Inclusive Comprehensive High School in Mambu Bafut. Sister Gladys encouraged community members and well-wishers to participate in recognizing the school’s legacy and its commitment to educational excellence.

In addition, an exhibition highlighting the school’s rich history and notable achievements over the past fifty years was on display, allowing visitors to experience the school’s journey through time.

Cultural performances took center stage as students exhibited their talents in music, dance, and drama, reflecting the school’s dedication to celebrating significant historical events that distinguish Saint Joseph. Another key highlight of the day was the alumni reunion, where graduates from various years gathered to reflect on their school experiences, exchange stories, and reconnect with former classmates and teachers.

In a heartfelt appeal, Rev. Sister Gladys is calling on supporters of the SJICHS Bafut to contribute to the Jubilee Project, which aims to construct a new school fence. This initiative, she says, is vital for enhancing safety and discipline within the institution, an important pillar of Catholic Education in Cameroon. All contributions, no matter how small, are welcomed as the community rallies together to realize this significant project.
